This three day workshop is offered by Pam Cayton, founder of Tara Redwood School in California and author of Creating Compassionate Cultures (CCC), the Essential Education programme for developing compassion and wisdom in the hearts and minds of children.
Inspired by Lama Yeshe's Vision for Universal Education, Pam founded Tara Preschool in 1989 and it became the first pilot school for Essential Education in the west. She is now offering workshops for parents, teachers, therapists, and anyone who wants to create a more compassionate society and culture.
In these workshops you will:
* Experience a range of practical tools and methods that you can immediately apply to transform family dynamics, work environments, classrooms, therapeutic approaches and educational environments.
* Explore methodologies that reveal the logic of compassion employing reasoning, dialogue and reflection.
* Practice techniques to transform your world, starting with your own mind.
* Become familiar with a systematic step-by-step process to becoming a true source of happiness for yourself and others.

3-day workshop in Medford, MA: October 9-11, 2010 (Columbus Day weekend)
Cost: $300 for 3 days (scholarships may be made available)
Location: Kurukulla Center- 68 Magoun Avenue, Medford MA
All profits from this workshop will be paying for Pam Cayton's travel expenses, and any left over money will be donated to Kurukulla Center, for allowing us to use their beautiful space.
