We are incredibly fortunate and deeply honored to welcome His Eminence the 7th Kaybje Ling Rinpoche to Kurukulla Center.
H.E. Ling Rinpoche is the reincarnation of His Holiness Kyabje Ling Rinpoche, the late senior tutor to His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama who was the 97th holder of the Throne of Gaden and head of the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
Teaching Topic:
H.E. Ling Rinpoche will be teaching on a mind training text, the Jewel Rosary Practice of Bodhicitta.
This text is a central pillar in the ancient lineage of mind training (lo jong) and was composed by the Buddhist master Lama Atisha (982-1054). For one thousand years, serious meditators have contemplated and actualized the teachings offered in this short but penetrating text. The message in this text is meant for deep reflection and daily analysis through which its true benefit can be experienced and realized. An FPMT translation of the text is available for download.
