VIRTUAL CLASS: REIKI I and an Introduction to REIKI II

Long-time dharma student and Center member, Pat Venter, will begin a new cycle of Reiki courses on Saturday, March 28, 2020. In observance of the Center closure during COVID-19, this class will be delivered online as a Virtual Class.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key), an ancient hands-on healing art that originated from the East, is a universal life force that transcends time and space. This class is filled with teaching, sharing, reflections, and learning about how to effectively use simple methods to assist in healing self, others, animals, and the planet. We will explore our interconnectedness with the Reiki energy (chi) and tap into that source with attunement, symbols, and meditation.

It is important to note that Reiki is not a religion. Reiki's function is to help balance the energy levels of one's being holistically, with the goal of enhancing wellness. The approach is to connect with the component of the human spirit that wants happiness and to let go of things that cause pain and suffering. Reiki is considered to be a complementary healing system.

Requirement: Must attend both days (participants will receive a certificate). Demonstrations and practices will apply.

Online Virtual Class Requirements:
Please have available with you a stuffed animal or doll.
Plan to have a light vegetarian lunch with no garlic or onion.
