Dr. Nick Ribush, the founding Director of Kurukulla Center and long-time student of both Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche, has kindly accepted our request to introduce you to the basics of a Buddhist meditation practice. Among the class topics will be the importance of meditation in daily life, proper meditative posture, creating a meditation practice, and the introduction of several meditations to begin your practice.

No prior knowledge of Buddhism or meditation is required for this course, however, those with experience are also encouraged to attend.

Dr. Nicholas Ribush, MB, BS, is a graduate of Melbourne University Medical School (1964) who first encountered Buddhism at Kopan Monastery, Nepal, in 1972. Since then he has been a student of Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche and a full time worker for their international organization, the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT). Nick is the Founding Director of Kurukulla Center and current Director of the Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive.
