Pat Venter, long-time dharma student, continues her series of Reiki classes with Reiki Plus More on Saturday June 27 and Sunday, June 28.
This is an intensive interactive class where the focus will be less on theory and more on practice. Since this class is virtual and Reiki is considered to be hands on, topics will include the practice of Reiki during this pandemic crisis with a focus on mindfulness to enhance wellness of body, spirit, speech and mind.
We will tap into the human spirit to connect with the source within to practice Reiki. Questions and answers will be interwoven throughout the day. For instance, what causes suffering? Does Reiki eliminate stress? What does karma and ethics have to do with Reiki?
The schedule will include, but not limited to, review of Reiki I, attunement to and practice of the three Reiki II symbols (to increase the energy power to heal, emotional healing, and absentee healing), composition of the human body as it relates to Reiki, meditation to heal the planet the world, exercises to enhance one-pointedness, and more practice of healing self and others. A Reiki II manual will be provided.
Pre-requisite:
Must have completed Reiki Level I. All Reiki I practitioners welcome.
Requirements:
Must attend both days to receive a certificate
Have available spring water and glass for attunement
Please have on hand a stuffed animal, doll or pillow
