Buddhism in a Nutshell is an overview of the complete Buddhist path to enlightenment based on the transformative teachings of Tibetan Buddhist masters Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche and, as such, is pervaded by their blessings. It provides students with the information they need for their spiritual journey along with advice on how to integrate these teachings into daily life. In addition, readers are given simple meditation techniques to help bring each topic from the head into the heart.

Topics covered include the life of the Buddha, the four noble truths, and a explanation on the steps of the path to enlightenment following the Foundation of All Good Qualities, a prayer requesting blessings written by the Tibetan saint, Lama Tsongkhapa. This short course contains a unique blend of teachings and tools for anyone interested in learning more about Buddhism.

Dr. Nicholas Ribush, MB, BS, is a graduate of Melbourne University Medical School (1964) who first encountered Buddhism at Kopan Monastery, Nepal, in 1972. Since then he has been a student of Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche and a full time worker for their international organization, the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT). Nick is the Founding Director of Kurukulla Center and current Director of the Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive.
