Geshe Tenley will guide us in a meditation and mantra recitation practice, “The Inseparability of the Spiritual Master and Avalokiteshvara”, which was written by His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the request of his students when he was very young. This beautiful and inspiring practice is a wonderful way to create the causes for His Holiness’ long life and for peace on earth, while opening our heart to compassion. It is also a wonderful opportunity to be guided by Geshe Tenley in deeper practice.
The one day retreat is open to anyone inspired by His Holiness and His teachings on how to become wiser and more compassionate. One does not need to have received any particular initiations to participate. The emphasis will be on the recitation of the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra. It is advised that you attend all sessions of the retreat, as this is just a once-a-year event! There will be a vegetarian lunch (no eggs).
