Saka Dawa Mani Recitation

You can participate in person or via Zoom (see below).   Registration not required.

Saka Dawa is a special day, and also a special month. In 2022, Saka Dawa began May 31 and ends June 29. Saka Dawa Düchen (June 14), is the full-moon day of the month.  In honor of this special time, in place of the regular Sunday class, there will be group recitation of the OM MANI PADME HUM mantra, from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Geshe Tenley has encouraged everyone to either come to the center or at home. This is advice from His Holiness the Dalai Lama, so it would be good for all students to participate.

Feel free to come for 30 minutes when you have the time, or for both full days!

If students have recently received the 1000-Armed Avalokiteshvara empowerment recently given by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, they can generate themselves as the deity and also do the sadhana.
