Today we will chant the very precious Lama Chopa practice together. The word "puja" means "to please" and has the connotation to please through offerings and practice. The Guru Puja lays the whole path to enlightenment on our mindstream, connects us more strongly to our teachers, allows us to accumulate skies of merit and purifies eons of negative karma. The first 3/4 of the practice is chanted slowly in Tibetan and the last 1/4 is recited in English. The main idea is to recite the practice together and meditate on the meaning.
If you wish, you can make offerings in your own home on your altar or bring offerings to the center. If you know how to make offerings more elaborately, or according to the Lama Chopa practice, you can do that. Otherwise you can keep it simple and make any offerings large or small. Offerings are substances that are pleasing to the senses and that we like, such as flowers, incense, fruit, cookies, and so forth.

We hope you can join us!!!
