Led by Reiki master teacher Pat Venter and other Reiki master teachers who competed the REIKI PLUS MORE program.
Reiki is not a religion, but it can help enhance qualities of loving kindness and compassion. Reiki is a complementary energy healing system that enhances stress management, self-healing, healing others, animals, and the planet. We will help you activate the universal life force energy (chi) within you, though attunement, symbols and meditation.
This is an interactive class that will include wellness approaches with participation from all. Demonstrations, practice, sharing, and the enhancement of empathetic caring with mindfulness for others will apply. Please bring a vegetarian lunch with no garlic or onion.
PREREQUISITE: None. Reiki I Manual provided.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Must attend both days to receive a certificate. It is helpful, but not required, to bring a stuffed animal to class.
SUGGESTED DONATION $90.00 - Proceeds will benefit Kurukulla Center. Donate through Kurukulla website here or cash/check at the beginning of class, or by prior arrangement by the teacher.

Pat Venter introduced Reiki with the Reiki Plus More program to Kurukulla Center more than 15 years ago. She has been a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner for more than 30 years, having taken refuge in the Kagyu and Sakya lineages. She served on the Kurukulla Center Board for several years, and is a retired Diversity Program Director with Northeastern University, where she spearheaded a cultural awareness train-the-trainer program, creating the groundwork for the train-the trainer concept of Reiki Plus More.
