This year we will be buying the lobsters in Gloucester and have an alter for blessing the lobsters, close to where the boat will depart. You can either meet us at the center at 3:00 pm to drive together or meet us at the dock at 4:30 pm to join in the blessing of the lobsters. The boat leaves at 5:30 pm (sharp).
The boat will be departing from the dock close to 19 Harbor Loop in Gloucester, MA. We are using a boat from Cape Anne Harbor tours and directions from the center to the dock can be found here.
Note that there is only a limited number of seats on the boat. Please e-mail Marianne if you are interested in joining us. Note that if more people are interested than there are seats on the boat, we will put all the requests in a hat and have Geshela draw the names of those that can come along on the boat.
In the Buddhist sense, animal liberation is rescuing animals from impending death and then giving them Dharma by undertaking certain practices including circumambulation and mantra recitation.
