Over the past four months or so Dr. Nick has covered Buddhism in a Nutshell, Meditation 101, and Everyday Dharma. The fourth and final module in this series of introductory classes is Establishing a Daily Practice. Tonight is the first night and it runs for five weeks.

Recommended reading includes:

Days Four through Six of Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand: The Preparatory Rites
Altar Set-up and Water Bowl Offerings
The Method to Transform a Suffering Life into Happiness

The Dharma is vast and profound and there is so much to learn and practice. Developing a daily routine makes it so much easier to do. In this class we will look at the various activities and meditations we can choose from in establishing a daily practice in accordance with our personal needs and the time we have available.

This class is open to everybody, whether you have attended the previous ones or not.

As with all our teachings, this class is offered free of charge. However, we do gratefully depend on the generosity of students and supporters to cover our substantial monthly expenses.

Dr. Nicholas Ribush, MB, BS, is a graduate of Melbourne University Medical School (1964) who first encountered Buddhism at Kopan Monastery, Nepal, in 1972. Since then he has been a student of Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche and a full time worker for their international organization, the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT). Nick is the Founding Director of Kurukulla Center and current Director of the Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive.
